About Us

   Founded in 1982 by David Burchfield Sr, we began with just a small used truck sales lot in Duncansville, PA. Shortly after the used truck sales, a repair facility and salvage yard were incorporated into our company which established The Burchfield Organization, Inc. Our current locations include 713 Route 764, Duncansville, PA, 16635 and 808 Burgoon Rd Altoona, PA 16602.

   The Burchfield Organization, Inc. is a multi-functional business. The organization consists of a full service repair facility, towing service with roadside repair, truck & equipment sales, truck rental, salvage yard and body shop. 

Our towing service has a fleet of 20 trucks, the largest in Blair County, ranging from roadside service trucks to heavy duty wreckers. Our repair service consists of 25 bays and 3 major garages. Burchfield's does everything from oil changes to engine rebuilds of light cars and heavy trucks.

   Burchfield Towing specializes in Heavy Duty towing and recovery, Accident scene management and off road recovery. We also can haul equipment, offering low boy and landoll services.
